Sustained demand for the dollar from merchants excessively high..
rupee Dealers ascribed the rupee’s weakness to dollar picks up against different monetary standards abroad and a lower opening in the domestic equity value market.

Yesterday, the rupee snapped its 6-day winning spree by falling 27 paise to close at 67.35 on fresh demand for dollars from banks and merchants amid a fall in crude oil prices.

Recently, the benchmark BSE(Bombay Stock  Sensex) fell 188.30 points/0.76 percent, to 24,470.93 in today’morning deals .
